Untangle Africa's chain,playing my part
In Africa's heart, where chains entwine, A motherland once proud, now left behind. Healthy bones caged, smiles lost in time, Bright eyes dimmed, like a fading rhyme. Our mother tongue, a forgotten song, Father's legacy, where dust does belong. Ancestral wisdom, suppressed and worn, Peaceful traditions, like a broken horn. Leaders turn a blind eye, deaf to our cry, No water, no light, no food, no peace to buy. No healthcare, just pain and endless strife, Discrimination's sting, a lifelong rife....
African Unchained: Playing My Part By Jared Chimezie.
In the cradle of the sun, where the rivers flow wide, Stories of old echo, a nation’s proud tide. Once shackled in silence, our voices restrained, Now rising like thunder, African unchained. Roots delve deep into the rich, fertile ground, A chorus of ancestors' whispers, profound. With each step forward, we dance to the beat, A fabric woven, where history meets. Colors of our cultures, vibrant and free, Dancing in harmony, we are one, and real. With courage as our compas...
A Lement Of a Forgotten Daughter Of The Dark Skies
#poetry With the purest black woman under dire attack, Her co-wives transformed to treacherous nightmares, It all began as a sweet, melodic track, But ended in darkness, drowning in tearful layers. Her joy crushed in the mire of sorrow, Male children enslaved in the modern age, Defending their masters, burdened by care, While her daughters serve on a colonial stage. Fertile farmlands reduced to grazing ground, Her waterways now ruled by robbers' hands, Breast milk meant for her own, yet unbou...
Echoes of Tomorrow By Jared Chimezie
In whispers of truth, shadows unfurl Innocence drifts, drenched in the world Eyes witness yet ignore the pleas Ears listen, yet deny the skies' pleas Words of truth in fleeting breaths Freedom buried, claimed by death Dreaming of liberty, branded a foe Destroying their future, applauded as a show Elders mourn, hearts growing cold Where is the youth, brave and bold? Homeland's strength fades with a sigh Tomorrow shatters, a broken lie Leaders hopeful, but never to soar Hands clenched tight a...
The Bleeding Earth By Jared Chimezie
The Earth, a wounded being, deeply sore Her injuries evident on every shore Bleeding in silence, her cries obscure Dilapidated, her beauty no more Skulls strewn like tokens, a deadly game Blood rivers flowing, a tragic claim Bombs applaud on citizens' fenced remains While men fake smiles through searing pains Wives and children, lost, aimlessly roam In a motionless world, our planet's own #poetrycommunity #poetry
A Symphony of Struggle By Jared Chimezie
Every day the sun burns fierce Sweat pours like rivers, a relentless pierce Men's tears fall in huts of scars Trees stand wounded, like forgotten stars Men forced to crawl, like babes undone Trod upon, their voices drowned in the sun Onions sting the eyes, cries unspoken Ears deaf to warnings, hearts rocked and broken Men bear the brunt of seen and unseen hands Planting tears like peppers in their lands Clouded minds blame those in white Mute tongues laud their own desperate fight Ancestral gu...

A Tale Of Paradise Lost And Found By Jared Chimezie
#poetry The realm of Paradise, once so bright Dulled by a man's fateful plight Led astray from his Maker's design A world of ease, now lost in decline No more freedom, no more gain Seduced by the fruit of pain Forsaking his Lord's divine feast Embracing the deceiver's deceit No seed of remorse could be sown In a garden where virtue had grown A tragedy for the lion's noble heart Yet bittersweet for the gentle dove's part Men must toil the land with sweat-filled streams Women endure pain in chi...
The Erosion Of Wisdom By Jared Chimezie
Our memories now as fleeting as the breeze, Captured in the grasp of an arrogant tree. Eyes wide open yet blind to the truth, Ears that hear not, lost in the din of our youth. Lands rejoice at the wrong's mistaken glee, Scorn the right, dismissing the true key. Hands toil tirelessly for a meager wage, Mouths boast of gains from a hollow stage. Our ancient forebears, wise in life's ways, Unfettered by materialistic craze. They danced to the rhythm of the sacred few, Thrived in peace under heave...
A King Amongst Mortals By Jared chimezie
In a realm where royalty's whispering wing Resides a king, to whom we should cling Unrecognized in his homeland, under foreign skies Yet worshipped in lands where reverence lies With a sacred heart, devoid of pride's shroud A humble crowned king, on a cot ride, unbowed Never boasting of a Golden physique so spry But embracing a human form, lowly nearby He understood our aches, tendered to our joys Saw through our sorrows, smiled at our ploys Welcomed with palm fronds, the red carpet's song Ev...
Agony of a tribe By Jared chimezie
Agony of a tribe, in shadows concealed Struggling for freedom, their fate unconcealed Hated by others, their leader confined No release in sight, their hopes alligned Lands captured, souls tortured and torn Bleeding, weeping, feeling forlorn Trees stand witness, silently weep Mouths utter pledges, in sorrow they seep Decent hearts confined, in cages of despair Escape denied, without a care Denying fathers, rejecting mother's tongue Forced to scatter, songs left unsung Where did we falter, whe...
Frustration by Igwe Jared Chimezie
Frustration, a silent storm that brews Blaming God, deflecting from unjust cues When leaders fail, point fingers high Pushing blame to the sky, a misguided try Idols rise as hope fades low Dishonest fruits society sows Hearts wounded, lost in glamour's trance Frustration's dance, a dangerous chance Hostage taken, peace in chains Hopes burn like candle flames Minds corroded, washed with cruel acid Frustration's grasp, hearts placid Men treated like mere cattle Ranting, rattled minds battle Str...
Love in the ashes
#poetry #poetrycommunity #Nircle Love in the ashes, a spark in the narrow night Shining through the chaos, a guiding light Rising from the ruins, a love so bold An unbreakable bond, a story yet untold In the heart full of doom, love takes flight Bringing healing and hope, shining so bright No longer trapped in endless mazes Breaking free, love against all crazes Let love like flame lead the way From harsh darkness to light, come what may In the depths of despair and gloom Love blooms, banish...
WELCOME TO DECEMBER
#poetry Welcome to the wondrous month of December, Where laughter fills the air, a joy to remember. Pains, now forgotten, vanished into thin air, Shame takes a backseat, no longer a snare. We savor the succulent fruits of our toil, Feasting on the rewards, as our spirits uncoil. The palm wine of our relentless endeavor, Now sweeter than ever, flowing like a river. Painting our faces with radiant smiles, As we proudly walk the journey of miles. Adorned with crowns of shimmering gold, We bask i...
MY PASTORAL JOURNEY
By Jared chimezie #poetry The bucolic landscapes captured And portrayed the symbiotic spectacle That crafted my ecclesiastical odyssey Even with unwanted traumatic tale From those inhospitable years Comrade twenty fourteen of all ears Welcomed me into the hinterland And amplified my tension Darting helter-skelter at the sound of the bell Deprived me of my customary morning tea, infused with cowbell It was a battleground of perspiration And fissures in my mind As I feigned to uphold How delight...

With our hectic schedules and constant exposure to stressors, taking care of our physical and mental well-being should be a top priority. Here are a few tips to help you embrace a healthier lifestyle: 1. Nourish your body: Focus on consuming whole, unprocessed foods that provide essential nutrients. #poetry #composed by Jared chimezie Title: Shattered Skies The world is so dim, filled with shadows and pain, Nations locked in a grim dance, freedom they strain. Diseases raging, taking lives with their might, While bandits sow chaos, taking blood with each fight. Hunger strikes relentlessly, never subsiding, And ulcer sits as if innocence is hiding. Our leaders, so blind, ignorant in their stance, Their arrogance claims our hopes with a callous advance. Where do we go from here, wh...

It's my birthday In the hands of the divine, chosen am I, A servant, guided by the Most High. With joy in my heart, I embrace this day, For it's the moment my path began to sway. To celebrate God's love, pure and rife, I'm grateful, forever, for His grace in my life. Happy birthday to me, a blessed soul, Guided by God, toward my destined goal.

#poetry The Triumph of Justice As the gavel falls, The oppressed find their voice As the judges stand tall Their choice becomes our rejoice May justice never falter And equality prevail May hatred never alter The love that must prevail Let freedom ring across the land And fairness reign supreme Let every citizen take a stand For justice is the dream May the oppressed find solace In this land of the free As we strive for a world Where love and justice can be Let us lift our v...
#poetry Africa Rising Africa shall arise And fight what's hindering her future Africa shall arise And reclaim her fertile pastures Let oppressive rulers be lost in the wilderness While the leaders with compassion find success May the deceptive masks no longer deceive And false smiles of deceit finally leave Let our ancestors guide the aspiring youth And grant the hungry ones the right to a fruitful truth Africa shall rise, a beacon of unity and light In our diversity, we'll reach new heights ...
#poetry Title: A World Unraveling Verse 1: The economy's collapsing, hopes start unraveling, The cost of living rising, it's a burden so surprising, Parents left crying, their children's lives slowly dying, In this world of despair, it's hard to find any repair. Verse 2: Mouths yawning in hunger, strength fading, we grow weaker, Yet who do we call, as all ears seem deaf to our small cries, In this time of need, despair filling hearts like a deadly weed, We search for a savior, to ...
#poetry "Journey of a Broken Heart" I'm shattered and tattered, beaten and broken By the scorching rain of life's harsh token Boredom led me to the door of despair And pushed me into a state of desolate scare Once, I had loved ones by my side But now, their coldness I cannot abide With tears, I journeyed through the dark of night But loneliness consumed me, without a light I whispered my sorrows to the lonely moon But her silence left me in a bewildered tune I called out to the stars, to hea...
#poetry "The Problem with Pretenders" Friendship in the mud They live secretly and proud, But there's no show of true love, And no love to prove it aloud. One claims they are better, And the other, prettier, Both playing the role of potter, Living lives full of denial and fear. What a world full of pretenders, Biting and fanning each other, Acting like friends called mouse, Comfortably nestled in our house. But the truth is hard to take, So they continue to play-pretend and fake, In this dr...
#poetry The Contrasting Spoons" The way appears so silky To those with silver spoons, Yet the view for wooden spooners Is hard and rocky like a dune. When winds blow through their thatch The cries from hearts, pain-filled and true, Their struggle on the streets is matched By their lack of fortune, through and through. Then rain falls, and the brick house smiles Their joyous hearts seem to light up the way, But if only we could bridge the miles And chase away the struggles of the day. If bles...
#poetry "The Fragility of Power Power stands strong And fuels people's audacity To strike the helpless heads that seem weak And bring everyone under authority But little do they know That power comes with a price For every action, there's a blow And one day, it will suffice The subjects they deceive With promises they can't keep They use power to deceive But their lies will soon reap For power is fleeting And rulers come and go Their hold will soon be beating And their power will no longer ...
#poetry The Illusion of False Identity" Fake name makes men Gaga It gears and hangs their shoulders To the Blind eyes that see them And leads them to the house of shame It plugs their ears to the truth As it whispers sweet nothings Offering only rings of mirage To those who cunningly steal the portage Yet in the end, the mask will shatter Leaving one exposed and alone For the truth always finds its way And the illusion of false identity will fade away So let us shed the cloak of deceit And...
#poetry The Lost Love In Blackman's Land Oh Africa, once a land of love, Now a place of greed and lust. Girls only seek for wealth and fame, Their hearts full of greed and shame. No respect for men, no trust in love, Only money can make them move. Gone are the days of pure hearts, Nowadays, slay queens play their parts. Men too, are not what they used to be, They deflower and then set free. No more the man who seeks for one, Only pleasure they seek for fun. It's hard to find true love these...
#poetry Nigeria the Strife filled Land Nigeria, Oh Nigeria, our dear land So much pain and sadness, we can't withstand Election fraud and hunger reign supreme Petrol prices soar, crushing dreams Our schools lack decent facilities And care for the elderly is pitiful No power, no good roads, no clean water Our leaders fail us, like lambs to the slaughter Citizens are killed without repercussion No justice, no peace, no resolution Workers struggle with low pay and strife Our spiritual guides fa...
#poetry Title: "Purifying the Sanctuaries" Our sacred homes, meant for the divine Now seem to offer anything but a sign Of faith, of love, of hope, of truth Instead they spread disease and ruth The holy men, who ought to inspire Now seem to succumb to filthy desire Greedy minds, and malicious hearts Their vile actions tearing us apart We need to cleanse our holy lands And take the devil out of our hands Let’s make our church a sacred place And fill it with kindness, love and grace No more ...
#poetry Title: Queen Of The Night She blooms like a queen In the darkness of the night Her petals so fragile Yet glowing so bright Her beauty is unmatched As she stands tall and proud A masterpiece of nature That leaves us spellbound. The queen of the night Has a charm so divine Her scent is so soothing Like a bottle of wine She attracts all the moths And butterflies too Whispering to them softly In a language so new. As the night draws to a close And the sun starts to rise The queen of th...

The giant home for the blacks, shining so bright A land free from spiritual malaria's despair Justice speaks without pranks, treating all fair The youths, life wires, igniting their flame Giving hands to arise, building their name No banditry, no one to marginalize A united nation, where hope never dies Corruption abolished, anguish set aside Free from its grip, we embrace a new stride Ed...
