Welcome to the wondrous month of December,
Where laughter fills the air, a joy to remember.
Pains, now forgotten, vanished into thin air,
Shame takes a backseat, no longer a snare.

We savor the succulent fruits of our toil,
Feasting on the rewards, as our spirits uncoil.
The palm wine of our relentless endeavor,
Now sweeter than ever, flowing like a river.

Painting our faces with radiant smiles,
As we proudly walk the journey of miles.
Adorned with crowns of shimmering gold,
We bask in the glory, no longer in the cold.
