The innocent suffer in prisons, cold and stark, While terrorists find a twisted light, leaving a mark. Truth is buried deep, weighed down by deceit, And falsehoods wear a crown, with a bitter, mocking beat.
Despite the scars of corruption and the grip of fear, Nigeria's creative spirit shines bright and clear. Nollywood's global presence, Afrobeats that move your feet, A land of entrepreneurs and dreamers, where ambition can't be beat.
As Nigeria celebrates 65, a milestone to embrace, It's time to reflect, to heal, to rebuild, to find our place. With youthful energy, vibrant culture, and a GC drive to thrive, Nigeria's future calls out, a chance to rewrite and revive. #poetry
