"Journey of a Broken Heart"
I'm shattered and tattered, beaten and broken
By the scorching rain of life's harsh token
Boredom led me to the door of despair
And pushed me into a state of desolate scare
Once, I had loved ones by my side
But now, their coldness I cannot abide
With tears, I journeyed through the dark of night
But loneliness consumed me, without a light
I whispered my sorrows to the lonely moon
But her silence left me in a bewildered tune
I called out to the stars, to hear my plight
But they remained aloof, out of sight
Each day brought pain, a new attack
As I tried to find my own track
But hope flickered like a glimmering flame
And slowly, my broken spirit began to claim
I rose above the pain and strife
Embracing the beauty of life
My scars remain, but I am strong
For I've journeyed through a difficult song.
