Untangle Africa's chain,playing my part

In Africa's heart, where chains entwine,
A motherland once proud, now left behind.
Healthy bones caged, smiles lost in time,
Bright eyes dimmed, like a fading rhyme.
Our mother tongue, a forgotten song,
Father's legacy, where dust does belong.
Ancestral wisdom, suppressed and worn,
Peaceful traditions, like a broken horn.
Leaders turn a blind eye, deaf to our cry,
No water, no light, no food, no peace to buy.
No healthcare, just pain and endless strife,
Discrimination's sting, a lifelong rife.
But still, we hold on to hope's pure light,
A dawn of change, a new sight in sight.
I'll play my part, and do my share,
To untangle chains, and show we care.
Let's rise and stand, with hands united,
Build our home, with hearts excited.
Reclaim our heritage, our culture so bright,
Shine like stars, in the dark of night.
Together we'll break the chains of old,
And forge a future, where all can unfold.
No more foreign chains, no more foreign might,
Africa's children, shining with delight
