The slogan “Aji Ra Abinda Buni Zai Ce” is fast defining the political atmosphere in Yobe State, emerging as a powerful expression of unity, loyalty, and coordinated direction as the 2027 elections approach.
Across the state, the phrase has become a rallying call among party stakeholders and grassroots supporters, reflecting a shared confidence in Gov. Buni’s leadership and his role in guiding the future of Yobe. The message continues to resonate strongly, reinforcing a long-standing political culture where cohesion and respect for leadership remain central.
The slogan also embodies Yobe’s unique approach to politics—one that prioritizes stability over division, continuity over disruption, and consolidation over fragmentation. This has helped maintain a united political structure and strengthened internal harmony within the ruling party.
Gov. Buni’s sustained efforts in fostering inclusiveness and engaging stakeholders have further deepened this unity, positioning the state on a steady path toward a smooth and coordinated political transition.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled party primaries from April 23 to May 30, 2026. Presidential and National Assembly elections will be held on January 16, 2027, while Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections are slated for February 6, 2027.
As political activities gradually intensify, “Aji Ra Abinda Buni Zai Ce” continues to stand as the defining message of Yobe’s political identity, anchored on unity, driven by loyalty, and sustained through continuity.
