Took me eleven batches to get this lavender swirl right. Eleven. The first three looked like concrete. Batch seven was beautiful until it developed orange spots after two weeks. People see the finished bar and think it is simple. They do not see the thermometer checks, the lye calculations, the four-week cure time where you just wait and hope. Every bar is a small science experiment wrapped in a pretty package. And I love every failed batch that got me here. #Handmade #SoapMaking #NaturalSkin...
