A LETTER TO 2020
Dear 2020,
I thought of writing to you a letter
but I felt a poem about you would be better.
Alot happened during your reign,
people failed,people lost to you but most people wailed,
we all hoped and boasted that you would be a good year
but you proved us wrong
because your reign caused so much grief all year long.
Most people prayed that you would be their best year
because of their encounter from the past years,
but you turned out the exact opposite of their request.
A terrible virus broke out causing a constant threat
nobody thought it would cost so much
but it did and it broke out in a rush.
Doctors all over the world worked tirelessly and researched about the virus
because they thought eradicating it was viable,
the more they researched,the more death rate was recorded.
Then it did dawned on us all that it was incurable,
the death rate was so high
which made our fears high
then our leaders concluded on a total lock down
but still,the cure wasn't found.
Then we concluded and our leaders layed down some rules to maintain the virus and it helped.
But the damages the virus made is still felt till today,
That's why 2020 is tagged
" A year most people dreaded".
