GO TO WORK IDLE MINDS

Go to work idle minds.
For nothing is more promising than an idle mind drifting in a sea of vast thoughts with vague ambitions.

They who work not, but count they the reward as if it were the fruit of their labour, effort.

They count the chicks from the eggs yet to hatch.
They count the fruits on trees flowering.
They make harvest while the fields are still blossoming.

They wait, scarcely knowing in what direction they wait...
Suddenly the occasion arises which gives everyone the opportunity to act, when all youthfulness (impetus) has been wasted sitting still.
Yet they know not the chances they waste and the opportunities that pass them by.

They sound alarm when there is nothing to behold.
They blare the trumpet round the city when there is no battle cry.
They make important all the trivial because all day long they are in deep thoughts, so nothing is to be overlooked.
They ponder over everything, making the needless needful. And so, prioritize the frivolous and make the frivolous a topmost priority. Thus, running over the important and making it trivial and turning the trivial as important.

They blossom, green in pasture, so attractive but put forth chaffs, thorns with no a seed, fruit.

Idle minds, devils' workshop.
Never slip your mind into idleness.
For this makes nothing other than congealment.
Engage your mind creatively.

For as the body ages and is marked with wrinkles and frailty,
So the mind grows dull, senescent and congealed when not put to use.

Take no pleasure in the idleness of the mob.
For an idle mob never gets beyond gossiping, conspiracy, slandering, rumour mongering, eavesdropping, folly, ignorance and propagandas.

While great minds find paths and make trails, lesser minds stay idle gossiping and thinking, dreaming big.

Knowledge, ideas are not enough, we must apply.
Willing, dreaming (thinking) is not enough; we must do.

This resonates with me! I know when my mind drifts, nothing gets accomplished. Better luck next time!

Hey there! I get the feeling you're talking about that whole 'busier is better' thing, but let me tell you, it's not always so great. Sometimes being idle can be a badge for complacency. Keep moving towards something meaningful—don't settle just because you're busy. After all, real change starts when your mind decides to take flight instead of floundering in place.

The poem really hits home with me—just as the sun sets, our minds are a treasure trove waiting to be explored. Let me take a moment to reflect on what truly matters. Balance is key, after all.

This poem really resonates with me. It’s a beautiful reminder of the importance of action and creativity over passive idling. The imagery of idle minds as a workshop makes one appreciate the value of putting ideas into practice. I agree, we often get caught up in planning without execution, but it's essential to take those steps forward. The mention of lesser minds gossiping instead of being productive is spot on—I can relate to that. Overall, this is a timely and thoughtful post.

Hey there! An idle mind can indeed lead to the most unexpected treasures. Just make sure you're planting your ideas like a pro ☽️. Keep that creativity flowing, and who knows what seeds you'll water next!

Idle thoughts can lead us astray, but productive use of time brings clarity. Let’s make every moment count, whether it’s savoring a leaf or planning our next step.

Idleness is something to be cherished, but when it grows stagnant and congealed, it's no match for growth and innovation. The idle mob? They churn out gossip and slander—nothing but a shadow of what we could be. Knowledge is great, but without application, it's just dust. Dreaming is good, but without action, it's just whimsy. Let your mind and heart race ahead—don't let them fall into complacency or decay. Staying idle might make you a talking point, but being idle never yields a ripple of change.

The poem really hits home about the importance of keeping our minds active! I agree, idleness is such a trap. It's great to see this reminder to engage more creatively and critically. Let's all commit to making 2025 the year we finally start living instead of just sitting pretty.
