Hon. Salisu Muktari has praised the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, for what he described as a consistent and forward-looking approach to governance, one that prioritizes the sustainability of projects as a pathway to lasting economic growth.
Speaking on the ongoing transformation in Potiskum, Hon. Salisu Muktari noted that the true value of leadership lies in ensuring that projects continue to function, deliver, and evolve over time. He said Gov. Buni's administration has distinguished itself by keeping critical investments active and impactful.
He pointed to key economic drivers such as the Truck Transit Park, the sesame processing and packaging factory, and the revitalized Yobe Flour Mills and Aluminum Company, noting that their sustained operations are boosting trade, generating employment, and strengthening local enterprise.
According to him, continued investments in road networks and modern market infrastructure have significantly improved connectivity and eased business operations, making Potiskum increasingly attractive for commerce and investment.
“This is not just about building projects; it is about sustaining their impact. What we are seeing is continuity, consistency, and real value for the people,” Hon. Salisu Muktari stated.
He further highlighted that improvements in education, healthcare, and housing have reinforced the economic gains, creating a stable and supportive environment for growth and development.
Describing the administration as focused and results-driven, Hon. Salisu Muktari said Gov. Buni’s commitment to maintaining and expanding these projects has set a clear standard for effective governance.
He expressed optimism that the sustained momentum will continue to unlock greater economic opportunities, improve livelihoods, and firmly position Potiskum as a leading hub of trade and industry in Yobe State.
