




Sen. Bomai Sponsors 100 Students to Study Abroad, Provides Local Scholarships to 6,000 Students of his constituency

The senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District (Zone B), Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, has launched a new scholarship scheme where he sponsored 100 students to study abroad and provided 6,000 domestic scholarships.
The senator is committed to providing a quality education system for his constituency by providing a system of free education for the good people of his constituency by providing a scheme of sponsoring education within and outside Nigeria for young men and women who have completed their secondary and post-secondary education.
The scholarship scheme includes supporting the education of girls who are in their final year and providing equal education to PWDs in his efforts to improve the education of girls and provide equal opportunities for the disabled in the pursuit of education.
The senator has long vowed that education is our investment, and he is proud to provide it to everyone.
"Education is the most important investment we have that we can make in the lives of our people to improve their future and provide our region and our nation with a path to peace and security and to avoid any threat.
"Education is the foundation of peace in every country in the world. Through education, we will have full access to a free life. Through education, we will protect ourselves from any threat of insecurity. We must stand up to provide a sound path to education and support our youth to stand up for the betterment of their lives and that of our nation." Sen. Bomai said this during the launching of Yobe State Educational Appeal Fund in Abuja.
The provision of these domestic and foreign scholarships at this time is a confirmation of the declaration he made at that time, which was a goal that would improve the lives of the people and prevent any threat among the people.
The senator has excelled in bringing about development projects ranging from education sector to the construction of roads that will develop the area he is representing.
