A FOOL AT FORTY AND A FOOL PAST FORTY

Oh Senseless man,
When will you be wise?
A fool at 40...
And a fool past 40...
Age is not necessarily wisdom.
Age is just a number.
Even fools age and grow old.
For a fool at forty is a fool for life,
What of a fool past 40?
But Life begins at 50,
Giving a second chance for a second start.
This is the redemption for a fool past 40;
To have a new beginning at 50;
the dawn of a new beginning.
Fifty is the end of the beginning as well as the beginning of the end;
The end of youth as lived in folly, waste...
The beginning of the end of Life towards the elderly; the age of composure, steeze and if necessary wisdom.
If we miss the train wisdom in our childhood, through adolescence, into adulthood through exuberance, decadence...
At 40s and past 40s ...
Let's bow in prayer (of contemplation) and be mindful...
For, there is always a second chance!
To board the second train, and
Never to miss the second chance;
Never to be ignorant of this second phase.
In order to redeem the second chance given to us by Life.
To have a new dawn at 50.
This second phase of Life,
Will we redeem or condemn our very self?
Will it be towards wisdom or folly
For Life?
