The Oak That Walks
He is the oak that learned to roam,
a quiet forest built like home.
His arms, wide branches reaching out,
a shelter strong through fear and doubt.
He is the lighthouse on the bay,
that holds the storm at arm's length away.
The waves may howl, the night may bite,
but he refuses to dim his light.
His hands are rivers, carved with care,
that shaped a path from deep despair.
He built tomorrow, stone by stone,
and made a house feel like a throne.
He is the mountain, calm and still,
while raging winds try hard to spill.
He is the anchor, deep and true,
the silent strength that pulls us through.
Like winter's hush and summer's flame,
he wears the seasons in one name.
He is the discipline and the rest,
the gentle storm inside his chest.
When darkness swallows up the light,
he is the moon that holds the night.
He is the root beneath the tree,
the strength no storm can ever flee.
So let the trumpets learn his name,
let mountains rise and skies proclaim,
for every father standing true
is heaven's crown, forever new.
