I give fake smiles that hold a thousand tears,
Wearing a mask to silence my fears.
I try to speak, but the words won’t flow
My heart too heavy, my steps too slow.
They see me whole, while I feel torn,
Telling lies like “I’m fine” since the day I was worn.
Expectations weigh like bricks on my chest,
Restless nights, no peace, no rest.
Crying till my eyes burn red, I can't just do it
While gbam, gbam echoes in my head.
My mind in chaos, my heart thin,
Tired of battles I can’t win.
The silence is loud, the air feels dusty,
Loneliness grips, familiar and crusty.
Then a whisper “You’re not alone”.
I raise my hands to the One above
The only One who answers with love.
With one deep breath, the ache subsides
Sunrise blooms gently inside.
Still, I need help I can’t explain
A pull from this slow, invisible pain.
Not fame. Not noise, Just peace...
A quiet, healing peace of mind.
And maybe just maybe I'm just starting to find it.
