Am I Not A Human?

I Am A Human Too!
My neck was a home to cruel chain
My posterior, a home to countless pain,
It all started from the brink of the Lagoon
My mother was tied, my sister was striped naked
just like a baboon,
My father, like every other man, was flogged to stupor
The thirsty land fed on his blood like liquor.
Yes, I was there, there I was,
I heard a domineering voice, piercing through from
the waves of the Atlantic ocean,
"Cram them in that boat, and chain them all"
As if all was not enough,
the book of my language was torn, rightly in front of me,
And the chapters of my identity was buried in hatred and disdain,
Our water and soil were all poured in their greedy sack
My mother to filter the water, our fathers to till the soil,
His posterior was adorned with wound, and her neck was dislocated with cargo.
So, I stood for a while like a lifeless statue,
Staring on my skin, touching my chest if I truly breathe
like that White man that whipped me of my land and pride,
All,I could see, was a striking resemblance of every feature!
So, I am a human too?
So, we both had blood that flourished through our vein?
And we both had heart that pound on the left side of our chest?
So, I am a human Too!
