I didn’t think love would end like this
In silence, not a storm, not a kiss.
No final word to hold on to,
Just me, left wondering what was true.
I gave you parts I’d never shared,
Believed in us, because you cared.
But somewhere, we both lost the way,
And love began to drift away.
I’m sorry for the times I broke,
For heavy words, I shouldn’t have spoken.
But I was hurting, scared, unsure,
Still loving you through every sore.
Now here I stand, with healing hands,
Letting go of what we planned.
It hurts, but even in goodbye,
I pray your heart learns how to fly.
Because though we part and paths divide,
Know that I loved you, deep inside.
