The Executive Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Potiskum to actively participate in the ongoing e-registration and revalidation of party membership, describing the exercise as strategic to strengthening party cohesion and effective preparation for future elections.
In his statement, Hon. Salisu Muktari appealed to party stakeholders at all levels to intensify mobilization efforts and ensure that APC members across the wards are fully informed and involved in the exercise.
“I urge all APC members in the Potiskum Local Government Area to key into this important e-registration and revalidation exercise. It is a vital process that will enhance internal organization, improve accurate membership records, and strengthen our party at the grassroots,” he stated.
He noted that the digital registration initiative is designed to promote inclusiveness and transparency while giving every party member a clear sense of belonging within the APC.
“This exercise is about ownership and participation; every eligible member should take advantage of this opportunity to register and be properly captured, in line with the directives of our leader and Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, CON,” Hon. Muktari added.
The Potiskum council boss commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for leading by example through his symbolic e-registration, describing the move as a demonstration of purposeful leadership and the APC’s commitment to modernization and efficiency.
Hon. Muktari further emphasized the importance of collective responsibility, urging ward executives, youth leaders, women's groups, and party faithful to work together to ensure the success of the exercise.
The APC e-registration and revalidation exercise, which has commenced across Yobe State, is expected to capture all eligible party members and strengthen the party’s organizational structure ahead of future political activities.
