The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, commends Sen. Ibrahim Mohammad Bomai, representing Yobe South Senatorial District, for providing foreign and domestic scholarships to the students across Yobe South Senatorial District.
The executive chairman commended him and called it a new style of representation aimed at improving the lives of the youth, improving the future of the community and creating a better future for the four local government areas in southern Yobe State.
"Senator Ibrahim Mohammad Bomai certainly deserves praise and commendation for his efforts to provide international and domestic scholarships to our students in Potiskum Local Government Area and the entire southern part of Yobe State.
"Providing scholarships for students both domestically and internationally from a senator representing the zone is a rare event in our political history, and we have only just begun to see it now, so we must commend him for this excellent work that he has done, which is effective in changing the future of our youth.
"Education is a very profitable investment because to whom you give education, it is as if you give him life, and to any society that you give education, it is as if you have improved it because only through education can we maintain our lives and property in a way that is compatible with modern society." The Chairman also commended the Yobe State Government led by His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, for its efforts in providing a sound teaching system in schools across Yobe State as a whole.
"We have certainly seen significant changes in the education sector under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni, from the establishment of new schools to the provision of qualified teachers and modern facilities in our schools, which is a testament to the government's commitment to bringing about significant changes for our future and that of our community."
