DAY 9/10 - CARRYING PEACE INTO THE WORLD

Peace begins with me, in my heart,
In the smile I share when I greet,
In the warmth of Salam
And the soft echo of “I’m sorry” whispered in truth.
It lives in kindness, “Do you need my help?”
In the thoughtfulness of a gentle “please,” asked without pride.
Peace shows in small, simple gestures
That speak louder than silence ever could.
I carry peace in my tone,
In the space I give others to breathe and be
In choosing silence over rage
In the restraint that plants seeds of grace.
Yes, the journey is hard.
The battle of letting go is real.
Forgiveness stings when scars still bleed.
Silence in anger, setting firm boundaries,
Bowing in patience when the world feels heavy
These are the quiet acts of peace I practice every day.
They say peace is the absence of conflict,
But I’ve learned it is more.
It is presence.
Presence of healing, of courage, of truth spoken gently.
Peace doesn’t always come easy.
It rises from ashes, betrayal, heartbreak, loss.
I walk toward light, away from darkness.
Some say peace is weakness. I say it’s strength.
I carry peace into broken spaces
Where trauma lingers and hurt hangs low.
I speak calm into chaos,
And bring light into rooms dimmed by fear.
Like wind brushing away footprints,
Peace confronts injustice,
Shatters trauma,
Dissolves hatred like light melting rusted chains.
Real peace isn’t just silence or stillness.
It’s healing, not suppression.
It’s asking for help before breaking.
It’s courage in the face of unspoken pain.
Peace is effort. It’s empathy.
It’s truth told tenderly and boldly.
It’s the righting of wrongs within.
I do not carry perfection, I carry intention.
To build bridges where silence once stood
To be refuge when storms rage loud.
To embody calm where chaos screams.
Peace is not passivity, it’s power.
It’s not weakness, it’s wisdom.
It’s showing up whole or healing,
Not easily broken.
It’s creating safe spaces where voices are heard,
Where calm stands firm in chaos.
Now, I carry peace on my shoulders
In my steps, in my speech, in every place I enter.
I plant peace, even in pieces.
I am a vessel of peace.
Peace begins with me and I choose to live it.
Through me, the world can breathe softer.
