A gentle calm rising from deep within.
It’s the seed sown in the soil of storms
Not weakness but courageous silence.
Peace is the softest sigh in the darkest night
Not the fall of all but the rise of one
It’s the whisper the aching heart longs for
A name we wear, a truth we live.
Peace is the quiet whisper the soul hears in chaos
It’s not stillness forced upon thy will
Nor the stone lodged deep in a grieving soul
But the dust released, the burden lifted.
Peace is the breeze beneath a thousand storms
The happiest tears beneath the bluest sky.
Peace is relief when grief has spoken,
A necessity never a luxury.
