The distribution of agricultural commodities to the seventeen (17) local government areas of Yobe State is continuing following the launch of Phase II of Governor Buni's Farmer's Empowerment Program.
The governor launched the distribution of the agricultural empowerment inputs on Tuesday, 29th July, 2025, to empower farmers, boost the economy, and ensure food security for the good people of Yobe State and the entire Nigeria.
The State Ministry of Agriculture has been directed to distribute the commodities to the Local Government Agricultural Centers under the leadership of the Local Government Area Council Chairmen to deliver the agricultural inputs to the farmers across the 178 wards of Yobe State.
Each Local Government Area will receive 2,500 bags of fertilizer, 600 grains, 500 cassava stems, 50 power tillers, 20 threshers, 50 planters, 30 fertilizer spreaders, and 20 agrochemicals.
Local Government Areas are currently receiving their allocation of the second phase of the Farmer's Empowerment Program, an initiative to further ease the lives of the good people of Yobe State.
