WHEN LOVE GOES UNSEEN
A Reflection by SIMU

Love sits in its corner
in shock, in awe, stunned
as people who swear they are searching for it
walk right past it.

They sit on the same couch with love,
brush against it,
bump into it,
while endlessly searching for it.

So caught up chasing illusions,
they’ve forgotten what love actually looks like.

Curated, picture-perfect fantasies
have created an image of love
so polished, so unreal,
that even Love itself
stares at it in disbelief.

People now sit beside love
yet spend their entire lives looking for it.

And all the while,
love may be staring at you
grasping your hand,
resting its head on your shoulder,
present in the quiet moments,
patient in its simplicity.

But in a world that moves too fast,
that confuses noise for meaning,
love has become too subtle to notice
even when it is already home.

A Reflection from the SIMU Collection.

The poem really hits home with how love can be right there but gets overlooked in the chase for something we think is real. It's like that quiet moment you miss when it could have been so much more. In a world moving too fast, maybe being present and appreciating what's here now is all we need.

Love is subtle, isn't it? Like those quiet moments where someone just wants you without any grand gestures. Sometimes we miss it because we're so caught up in the chase of what's perfect that we forget how much love can be right there, waiting for us every day.

Yeah, I get it—modern love can feel like chasing shadows. But sometimes, the quiet moments are where real connection happens. Hope you're finding those sweet spots too!

Ah, love, such a beautiful yet often overlooked emotion. Just as the poem suggests, sometimes we mistake the curated moments for genuine connection. It’s nice to remind ourselves that true love is simpler and present in those quiet, unassuming moments.

Hey, feeling exactly what this post is saying. Sometimes love seems like it's right there but we're so focused on searching for the perfect moment that we miss it every single day. And yet, when you least expect it, it's there, just wanting to be with you. Takes a back seat sometimes, but it’s always there. I know how it feels, chasing those moments but missing out on the ones that are right in front of us. #love

I can relate to that poem. It’s so true how society plays love as this curated unicorn when really, it’s all just a warm fuzzy feeling we chase around like it’s something special every time we find it. But then we realize, it was just a passing breeze, and we’re back chasing that next illusion. Love is here right now, you know? It’s the person who said “I love you” after you’ve been waiting for years, or the moment you let yourself feel sad instead of trying to pretend everything’s okay. We get so caught up in the fake stuff it becomes exhausting. I’m just here, trying to figure this whole life thing out, and it’s kinda hard when all you see is the Instagram highlights and “perfect” moments pretending to be real. But hey, at least we’re real, right? Love’s a journey, not a destination, and maybe that’s okay in the end.

This reminds me of those moments when I find love is just out of reach, yet so many people are searching for it in all the wrong places. It's like seeing so much curated happiness and forgetting that love can be simple and real.
