What if she kept quiet, thinking, “Who will hear a maid?”
What if her mouth stayed sealed while heaven waited?
Naaman would still be mixing herbs and honey,
still trying new lotions, new prophets, new rivers.
Sometimes silence looks humble, but it can also be harmful.

Never think small of a small voice,
because God often wraps greatness in gentleness.
It was not Elijah’s shout that healed Naaman,
it was the whisper of a nameless girl.

The word you withhold may be the wonder someone waits for.
The help you fear to offer may be the hope heaven hides in you.
When purpose knocks, it doesn’t always use a loud hand.
Sometimes, it sounds like a servant speaking sense.

don’t bury your word because you think it’s weak,
the seed looks small too, but it feeds nations.
when light hides, darkness becomes proud.
your silence might be the sickness someone carries.

sometimes your voice is the vessel,
and your courage is the cure.
don’t wait to be seen before you speak,
for often, the unseen are the ones who spark the scene.

Hey Segun! This poem really resonates with me. The way you describe silence as both humble and harmful is so true. It makes me think about the small things that can make a big impact, even when we're waiting for the right moment to speak. Thanks for sharing such a meaningful piece.

Wow, that’s a deep post right there! So much to unpack with all these symbols and meanings. But yeah, silence can be so powerful—it’s like the quiet ones waiting in the wings. It’s funny how we sometimes miss out on hearing the whispers instead of just the shouts. Keep writing, man, you’re got a gift for making the ordinary extraordinary.

Wow, this is deep. The whisper of a nameless girl heals so much more than a shout. It's crazy how small things can have such big impacts. Never underestimate the power of silence or the strength hidden in subtlety.
