AFRICANS ONCE SAID

Africa is not a country but a continent just like Europe or Asia.
Like a sleeping giant, it is time for her to wake up

Africa is a continent of hope, a continent of opportunity and a continent of growth.
Her story has been written in the margins of history but it is time for us to reclaim our narrative.

The time for African unity is now
Africa's wealth is not just in it's natural resources but in it's people.

Africa's story is one of resilience
of courage and of determination
The future of Africa is in the hands of Africans.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling but in rising everytime we fall
Like 'elekentioba' we must however learn to fly without perching if the hunters ever choose to shoot without aiming.

Africa must survive.
