TITLE: The Currency of Illusion

We live in a world built on glass and light,
where attention is mined like gold,
and virality is the new measure of worth.

Everything crass, everything lewd,
everything shallow yet loud,
is celebrated as currency.
Even stupidity earns its living,
paraded proudly on feeds of filtered perfection.

Societies burn softly,
structures collapse quietly,
as long as the flames bring profit
and the rubble shines like diamonds on the screen.

A perfect picture,
a flawless filter,
an illusion curated to perfection —
these are the new altars of worship.
The more shocking, the more crude,
the more it spreads,
the more it feeds the hunger
of the digital beast.

And yet…
somewhere beneath the glare and the scroll,
a pulse remains.
A spark of clarity.
A mind that remembers depth,
a heart that refuses to trade wisdom for applause.

We scroll, we double-tap,
we consume the currency of illusion,
forgetting that the world behind the lens
is still real,
fragile,
and waiting to be seen.
