Tale of my life

my teen days
were cycles of tonado
rooted out the twin trees -
the passing of Mom and Dad
- peel off bark
my twenties,
drizzle on demise lawn
that profit no farmer
ride me on pale horse of craving
and
foretaste
dry off, a dewdrop
on summer leaf
crops of my lawn
genuflect
wither
my thirties,
a tale of an idiot
float
fleet
flee
with nothing to recall
my forties,
a bubble gum in the air
rise
swank silky
glide methodical
with a sudden burst to nothingness
my fifties,
the blast of thunder
without rain
flatter the foretaste
of farmers
sail me in wagon of grief
to the pen of hunger
then to grave side
this sixty,
an elegy at the grave side
too late to console
glassy life
when bier poise to kiss her grave
and the ribbon is slashed
with strokes
"will it rip?
ah, let me climb!"
