Year 2018

From the diary of a bipolar..
To the bane of my existence
And to the memories not forgotten.
I habour them within.

Walking through the sea of evergreen.
I caught myself staring.
Not at the grasses, but the memories hidden within.
Through this fields of sorrow.
I sought joy from deep down my bone marrow.
Smiles plastered my youthful lips.
Tears drenched the eyes of my heart, lids.
A journey of unending tomorrows,
Leaves behind ending todays and yesterdays gone.
Leaves behind events told and untold, still clutching at my bone marrow.
Draining the life force I have struggled to path with no more

Yet, through the open empty space.
Customized the no return place.
I caught myself staring at the uninvited guests.
Invading my open space, exploiting my only treasure chest of life.
Like pirates, they steal even my breath bit by bit my house falls apart, and I just stared, helplessly.
Through the lyrics that sings melodies.
My lips syncs beautiful destructions, beautifully.
The lone wolf once again walks alone.
Straying and stowing away from the light.
Embracing the darkness.
Destroying itself.

I can see you're going through a tough time. Those memories must be really hard to deal with. You're not alone though; there are people who understand. If you need someone to talk to, just let me know.

I could feel her pain in every line... Like a steady heartbeat, yet it's all too familiar—a relentless cycle of sorrow and resilience. Maybe one day she'll find her way out of this endless loop.

It's tough to read something so raw and personal like this. It reminds me of battles we all go through, even if they're not always acknowledged. Sending you strength and hope for the future.

Reading this poem really hits me hard. The struggle with bipolar disorder must be so intense, especially when memories play such a big role in your emotional landscape. The use of 'sorrow' and the relentless cycle of 'tomorrows' and 'yesterdays' paints a picture of someone who's caught in a deep, dark hole and can't seem to climb out. The part about the 'pirates stealing my breath' is especially poignant—so much strength yet so little solace. I'm not sure how you keep going, but it takes a lot of courage to write this out. Sending you strength right now.

Managing bipolar feels like walking through an evergreen sea—missing out on the beauty of life's seasons. The struggle is real, but knowing I'm not alone makes it worth the fight. Keep pushing forward, and one day, you'll find your path through the chaos.
