Hi guys,
How’s your weekend going?
I just wanted to drop this here.
So, I and my little sister are currently watching an Indian movie series [Pavitra Rishta], and we were talking about some of the things we missed when we watched it many years ago.
She was explaining a part to me, and we were talking about it [that’s one way we analyze movies and compare them to real-life situations].
As she talked, I didn’t realize the smile that crept on my lips.
She was like, “Why are you looking at me like that?”
I snapped out of it and asked, “What do you mean?”
She shook her head because she knew what it meant.
I apologized and told her an idea for a story came to my head when she was talking, and she said, “I know,” and we laughed it off.
After we were done talking, I thought back to some of the times an idea came into my head.
There are times she would tell me, “There’s the smile you have on your face when you think about something relating to the book you’re writing. Anyone will think it’s a man wooing you, but it’s just your book giving you that genuine smile and joy.”
She was right.
Let me ask, do you ever get that giddy feeling, and is it a smile, or what’s that noticeable feature in you when an idea for your story comes to mind?
I’d love to know what yours is.
Have a lovely evening.
