The letter I never sent

The words that I wished on those days were present

That i wished you stayed a little longer

Our last hug i wish it lasted a bit longer

Maybe if I was more sensible I would have lived more in the moment

Now I might not be this sad poet

I wish heaven’s gate has visiting hours

I have a lot to tell you and I want to give you flowers

Not on your tombstone but on your hands

Maybe get few more hours with you like you are still on land

Tell you how much I miss you

I know it might not change anything but I wish to tell you

I am wiser now so I write letters more

I tell people I love now that for them there will always be an open door

Now I live in the present and so that I can always love, I have it reserved in store

But most importantly you are the one I have all these for

Because this is a letter i never sent
