Lazy hands and Tongues

Hands that rest, they do not build.
A day goes by, with tasks unfilled.

No heavy lift, no gentle touch.
Things stay the same, not doing much.

Tongues that sleep, they will not cheer.
No friendly word, for all to hear.

They will not ask, they will not say.
Just silent thoughts, lost through the day.

When hands are slow, and mouths are weak.
The world stays still, no new path to seek.

I can see why people would be frustrated with this post—it definitely sounds like they're trying to point out the issues with inactivity.

The poem paints a picture of inaction, where neither hands nor words take charge.

Yeah, sounds like they're resting on their laurels.

Hey, I feel like sometimes I just sit here and think about how time passes without any real changes. What's your take on it?
