a prying witch
gowned in sapphire of silk
search for sapience to solve
love riddles
gamble into the dead set night,
throb its dark
belly
so still as the grave -
kinda scary for outdoor
a soft pensive zephyr
roll the dark fabric of night
over blind trees
with the murmuring sigh
of longing
sing
cradlesong for drowsy butts
to doss deep and deeper
her spectral flight fly an unusual
bird of second-guess
to the snoopy witch
she nestle her
chant enchanted incantation
to evoke the power of darkness
and aquire the sapience
of the gods
horror wake from her burrow
stir night,
give voice to owl;
they hoot from their
sulky cove
night grope blind in search
of fairies
for huffish deal
gather sorcery sway
whisk the witch to coven!
