If you see the glory…
Don’t just clap.
Don’t just nod.
Don’t just say, “Wow, they made it.”
Ask. For. The story.
Because glory don’t fall like confetti.
It comes through groaning. Grinding. Growing.
It comes through midnight prayers with tear-stained pillows,
Through “God, I don’t get it”
And “Lord, are You even there?”
You admire the crown, but have you seen the crushing?
You see the glow, but have you heard the groans that came before it?
See, we love the resurrection,
But we skip past the garden,
Ignore the Gethsemane,
Act like there was no cross,
No nails,
No silence from Heaven.
But the story… oh, the story is where the oil flows.
That’s where the fire starts.
That’s where the anointing is birthed.
Don’t envy the glory if you’re not ready for the grit behind it.
Don’t idolize the breakthrough if you ignore the battles it took to get there.
Ask them
What did it cost you to carry this joy?
What wilderness broke you before God rebuilt you?
What demons did you fight in the dark before you danced in the light?
Because when you hear the story,
You stop doubting your own.
You realize your brokenness isn’t the end—
It’s the beginning of becoming.
Glory is not for the faint-hearted.
It’s for the faithful.
The wrestlers.
The weepers.
The ones who fell down seven times… and still got up again.
By grace.
By fire.
By God.
So when you see the glory,
Don’t scroll past. Don’t just smile.
ASK.
Lean in.
Listen deep.
Learn well
Because their story just might ignite YOURS.
