"How time flies"
Time, a thief in the night, steals moments away
Leaving us with memories, that fade like yesterday
We grasp and cling, but it slips through our hands
Like sand in an hourglass, lost in the shifting sands
We mark the passage, with birthdays and tears
With laughter and love, and all the passing years
But time, a sly trickster, plays hide and seek
Leaving us wondering, where did the moments sneak?
We try to hold on, but it's like grasping air
Time keeps on moving, without a single care
It's a river that flows, and we're just driftwood on its stream
Helpless to stop it, as it carries us to our dream
But then, one day, Time itself appears to me
With a mischievous grin, and a twinkle in its spree
It says, "I'm not a thief, I'm just a collector of tales
I take the moments, to weave them into eternal gales"
