The Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari's policies are on the path to improving the lives of the people within and outside the government, where the policies directly impact the lives of the residents of Potiskum LGA.
Hon. Salisu Muktari has gained political fame by being honest and ensuring that the right things are done and will continue to do so for the development of the people of Potiskum, politicians, civil servants, and security personnel.
Among his policies and strategies that have stood out in strengthening the government and providing security to the people of the local government are the recovery of government assets, expansion of government departments, strengthening of the security forces, and renovation or restructuring of various facilities.
"We live in this amazing local government with the blessings of Allah; it is very good and effective if we work hard to ensure a system that will not be a threat to our people in the future.
"We must compare truth and justice for the betterment of the community. Everything that arises will be more effective if we put aside our personal needs and put those of our community first because that is the only way to strengthen the impact we can make for the development of our community." He also pointed out that the poor and the community have high expectations from the government, so at a local government level we must do what we can.
