The Potiskum local government area Director of Primary Health Care Board, Dr. Abdulrahman Musa, has confirmed that Hon. Salisu Muktari's Open Door Policy has strengthened their health services in Potiskum local government area.

Hon. Salisu Muktari, the executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, has given an opportunity to directly consult with health officials (Primary Health Care Board) to ensure the effectiveness of the health system and encourage the implementation of primary health care in Potiskum local government area.

Director of Primary Health Care Board Abdulrahman Musa confirmed that "Hon. Salisu Muktari's Open Door Policy has strengthened our primary health care services and has given us a full opportunity to improve and streamline our services.

"This policy is part of the objective of our chairman, and that is why we are leading with the largest margin among the 17 local government areas of Yobe State, because with this consultation system we have the opportunity to improve our services directly.

"We are among the main areas where our complaints are received directly to improve our services to the community and ensure that our local government is successful in the management. Between us and the chairman is nothing but well wishes and thanks for the great contribution he has made to us in improving our services." Abdulrahman Musa Director PHC Board said

The chairman is giving priority to the primary health sector to confirm the determination of the Yobe State government under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, to transform the health sector and strengthen health services across Yobe State.

Potiskum Local Government Area continues to gain popularity and acceptance and continues to be a health hub across Yobe State.
