The policies of the Executive Chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, on health services their promotion and improvement play a key role in ensuring Gov. Buni’s commitment to revitalising health services across Yobe State.

The Yobe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN has vowed to revive and modernise the health sector and provide it with comprehensive care to improve the lives of all residents of Yobe State.

After reviving primary health care facilities in all 17 local government areas of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, the executive chairman of Potiskum LGA, has excelled in improving the primary health care system in Potiskum government area of Yobe State.

Following the direct contact/open door policy he gave to the PHC Board, the chairman continues to demonstrate his expertise and adherence to health promotion laws by providing cash supports and modern equipment that will play a vital role in transforming the health sector and supporting the Yobe State government’s ambition to expand the quality of health services across Potiskum Local Government Area.

The executive chairman recently provided the Potiskum PHC Board with financial support, equipment and two additional teams to expand preventive services to curb the threat of disease outbreaks due to the overcrowding and high population density in the local government area.

Hon. Salisu Muktari is giving the PHC sector full support to improve the health of the community and ensure the ambition of the Yobe State Government under the leadership of Gov. Buni.
