Following the efforts of the Executive chairman of Potiskum local government area Hon. Salisu Muktari to provide potiskum local government area with adequate water the (Anguwar Jaji and Bulakos Sub-districts) have received a solar powered borehole through ACF international.

The Potiskum local government area, in partnership with ACF International, has provided solar-powered boreholes in Anguwar Jaji and Bulakos sub-districts to address the shortage of drinking water and provide the local community with safe drinking water.

The chairman vowed to address the shortage of drinking water and daily necessities to create a better life and promote the agreement to provide the community with better living conditions.

"Our people need to be empowered by providing them with the means to manage and improve their water supply and sanitation systems.

"As leaders, we must seek projects from international NGOs or from the Yobe State and Federal Governments to empower our people.

"Our biggest challenge is to provide adequate drinking water and other basic necessities to ensure the well-being of the residents of our Potiskum Local Government Area." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari

ACF has partnered with the Potiskum Local Government Area to install solar-powered boreholes in two neighborhoods in the town.
