The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, supports Potiskum local government staff/employees and Potiskum APC social media writers with cash and necessities.
The chairman provided the support to the local government staff to enhance their welfare during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which is scheduled to be held on Friday, 6th June, 2025.
He also provided a cash support to the social media writers of the All Progressives Congress, Potiskum local government area to enhance their work and continue to provide them with shelter in the party while maintaining their welfare to carry out the party’s activities and celebrate of the Eid al-Fitr in peace and tranquility.
Potiskum LGA Nulge Chairman Danbaba Ali said, The Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has been committed to ensuring the welfare of our employees by always looking after us during religious festivals and other events that require financial assistance, and we consider this as a good gesture of kindness towards our employees.
"We bought 100kg bags of rice, and we distributed them among the 7 departments of Potiskum LGA, and on his instructions, he emphasized giving priority to the functional and junior employees of the LGA." He said
The departments that directly benefited from the support include the Admin Department, Agric Department, Budget and National Planning Department, PHC Department, Works, and LEA.
He also supported some of the APC writers in Potiskum LGA with cash, 50,000 and 25,000, respectively, to perform their Sallah celebrations.
This gesture shows kindness and concern for the welfare of the LGA employees and those who serve the APC party on social media and the intention to ensure the policies of His Excellency the executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN towards improving the lives of workers and the good people of Yobe State at large.
