The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has provided a spacious office for the hunters in Jigawa area of Potiskum LGA.

Providing them with a spacious office complex is part of the initiatives that Hon. Salisu Muktari is undertaking to ensure the commitment of the Yobe State Government under the leadership of H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, to ensure security and improve governance across Yobe State.

The executive chairman is committed to ensuring that the right things are done to improve the lives of the good people of the local government, which is why he provides this office to improve the security of the people and their properties in the area.

Potiskum Local Government Area is the only LGA across the 4 Local Government Areas of Yobe South (Zone-B) that provided the Hunters with an efficient office where they can effectively and efficiently operate as a Zonal Division.

Abdullahi Iro, the Hunters Officer, confirmed that they are now working as a unit with a Zonal Office in Potiskum Local Government Area following the handover of the office to them by Hon. Salisu Muktari.
