The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has been named Champion of Agriculture, Health, and the Architecture of the New Potiskum Local Government Area.
This is in line with his dedication to ensure the commitment of Yobe State government under the leadership of Governor H.E. Mai Mala Buni to develop the sectors and create a conducive economy with high efficiency and self-reliance in the future.
Hon. Salisu Muktari deserves the title of___ Champion of Agriculture, Health and the Architecture of new Potiskum LGA following his dedication to ensuring that things are going normal in every sectors.
Hon. Salisu Muktari is playing a key role in confirming the figures that show that Potiskum LGA has outperformed its counterparts in Yobe State in health sector due to the contributions and support he is giving to the sector at all times and how he is monitoring and ensuring their safe operations.
Similarly, in the agricultural sector, he is committed to fully contributing to improving their performance and bringing about progress that will show Yobe State as a state with great influence in agricultural sector and Potiskum LGA as a champion local government in the whole of Yobe State.
The chairman is also committed to transforming Potiskum LGA by reviving scattered and abandoned government assets and ensuring their quality and renewal across Potiskum LGA.
“Potiskum is better than anywhere else to me, and we will stand firm to ensure that we bring about progress that will make us and all those who want the development of the local government proud.” He said
