The Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has applauded Governor Mai Mala Buni for his unwavering support and leadership that continue to shape the progress and stability of Potiskum and Yobe State at large.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony of the National Immunization Plus Days (NIPDs) at the Emir of Fika’s Palace, Hon. Muktari described Governor Buni as a visionary leader whose passion for grassroots development is transforming lives.
“Governor Buni’s leadership has brought real change to Potiskum. His constant support has strengthened governance, improved infrastructure, and raised confidence among our people,” he said.
The chairman noted that the governor’s focus on health, agriculture, education, and community development has produced visible results, making Potiskum one of the most active and progressive local governments in the state.
“His Excellency has shown that leadership is about service and results. He listens, supports, and acts—that is why our communities are moving forward,” Muktari added.
He further commended Governor Buni for maintaining peace and security across Yobe, describing his administration as a model of stability and people-focused governance.
“Because of his commitment to peace and community welfare, Yobe remains one of the most peaceful and secure states in Nigeria,” the chairman stated.
Hon. Muktari reaffirmed Potiskum’s loyalty and readiness to continue supporting the governor’s vision for a more united, developed, and prosperous Yobe State.
