The ongoing rural transformation drive of Governor Mai Mala Buni has reached Jajere Village, bringing with it a new look of progress and modern infrastructure that is changing the face of the community.
Once a quiet settlement, Jajere now beams with energy and development as newly constructed asphalt roads and solar-powered streetlights redefine its landscape.
The project, which has already drawn admiration from residents and visitors alike, stands as another clear example of Governor Buni’s determination to extend development beyond urban centers and ensure that every community in Yobe State feels the impact of good governance.
Under the new infrastructure, movement within the community has become easier and safer, while the solar lights have enhanced nighttime visibility and improved security for residents and traders.
Speaking on the development, Abubakar Adamu Jajere, a resident of Jajere ward, Fune LGA, said the transformation of Jajere reflects Governor Buni’s practical and inclusive approach to leadership.
“This project is a testament to Governor Buni’s promise to improve lives through action, not rhetoric. Jajere has moved from a quiet village to development—from darkness to light,” Abubakar said.
He added that the governor’s administration remains committed to spreading similar developmental projects across all parts of the state, ensuring that rural communities share in the benefits of modernization.
The transformation of Jajere has continued to attract commendations from residents who say the initiative has restored pride and hope in their community.
Governor Buni’s rural renewal initiative is fast building a legacy of progress, connecting the past with a brighter and more promising future for Yobe State.
