The General Hospital in Nangere Local Government Area has been completely rehabilitated by the Yobe State Government, turning public concern into decisive action and reaffirming Gov. Buni’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery across the state.
Only a year ago, images revealing the hospital’s poor condition dominated social media and triggered widespread calls for urgent intervention. Today, the narrative has changed; under the leadership of Gov. Buni, the facility has been fully upgraded and repositioned to provide quality medical services in a clean, safe, and dignified environment.
The revamped hospital now boasts rehabilitated wards, improved consulting rooms, upgraded utilities, and modern medical equipment designed to meet contemporary healthcare standards. These improvements have significantly enhanced the working conditions of health personnel and the overall experience of patients accessing care.
The project is part of a broader health sector revitalization program by the Buni administration, which targets the rehabilitation of general hospitals and primary healthcare centers across Yobe State to improve access to essential health services, especially at the grassroots.
