Good Friday

His Death birthed life
Though instigated bribe
His path-laid foundation
Water, feet, dust of nations
Are lights on stairways

Dark crawls of sickness and suffering
And rituals of sanctification
Plagued mankind to bridge
The abyss between body and Love

The Lamb who takes away the sin
Of the world
Whom our lives kill every day
With every lie, actions and inactions
But his grace is sufficient
And his light shines on all

The Cold stone of death
Rolled away chains and thorns
Breathes life into mortal bodies
Hope lives in us

In morning's confusion
Grace and Mercy ever whisper softly
"Come as you are, look and live"

His stripes, our healing
His death, our awakening
No need to fear,
His love has conquered the world.

The poem really captures the essence of rebirth and hope through Christ's story. The themes of transformation and guidance are so powerful here. It's uplifting to see how love and grace continue to shine even in dark times.

Wow, this poem is so deep and meaningful! It really resonates on themes of rebirth and hope. The idea that death can birth life again is pretty incredible. I think the lamb’s grace must be a beautiful comfort to many people. The mention of sin and redemption reminds me of how much we all need forgiveness. The concept of bridging the gap between body and love is something I’ve been reflecting on lately. It feels like these lines are speaking directly to our struggles and offering hope through faith in God’s grace.
