DAY 2/10 - A TIME I FOUND PEACE IN CHAOS

Waking up to mornings wrapped in grey,
Searching for what life quietly took away.
But the dim light blurred my sight,
And every rise ended in another fall, another fight.

"Why me?" echoed through my soul.
Tears tracing questions I couldn’t control.
Chains gripped tight, storms pulled me under
And silence answered every cry with thunder.

Voices whispered, "You won’t make it through,
You can’t rise, this isn’t meant for you."
I shouted, begged and cried but silence stayed.
Night fell again, even the dim light frayed.

Then suddenly, from a ditch so deep,
A gentle grasp found me in my weep.
No more shouting, just raised hands, still.
A whisper came: “After hardship comes ease.”

I turned to find the voice, but none was near,
Yet peace entered so quiet and sincere.
So I called on the One who never leaves,
And felt my shattered spirit begin to breathe.

This time, I rose, no chains, no fear
The storm grew quiet, the sky turned clear.
Light burst forth, the air smelled clean
A tranquil calm like none I'd seen.

In a world of chaos I can’t control,
I once felt lost, restless in soul.
Mistakes haunted me, hope seemed thin,
But in the dark, light grew within.

This time, I rose, no chains nor fear,
The storm grew quiet, the sky turned clear.

Now I’ve found my way
Hope in my hand, peace here to stay.
Let go of the chains, the noise, the pain
And in that silence, I rose again.
