Gave dis mortal scar...

D fond glory in blood
Dy brodas brood
Was urs a royal scar...

D marine was ur highway
For thy slaving tirades far away
Ur royal diadem...

U spilled our royal blood on d estuary
In slavery pittance our obituary
Was urs alone d diadem...

Now with sorrow dy memory renaissance
