Culture and reform;
what makes the human humane.

Born an outlaw, culture grooms and makes the patriot.
Culture reforms to a loyal citizen.

Born a villain, Barbarian,
Only culture will nurture;
Only culture will reform.

Man is instinctively barbaric.
only culture and reform makes him human.
Without culture, without reform,
Man is a prowling beast roaming in the wild; on the streets in every nook.

Without culture and without reform;
Man is an intolerable monster;
a beast to perish.
Heading for the gallow,
Heading for the chain.

Men are born free,
Their freedom is their very destruction as well as their salvation.

Freedom is the ability given each of many to choose his very own gallow, chains;
And his very own choice, decision set the nose, erect the dungeon.

The same freedom through culture and reform is uplifting.
