a tale of my country

the shade of night
stretch her dark tongue,
lap the last ray of day light
gulp the poised
sun at the exit gate
rays of light
hide in the plumage of darkness
fade
from the memory of the sky
and forge a longing for her fulgent glow
we grope for lost savvy
along sullen alley
wish the moon will lit
the night sky,
wash out the numb dark
till sun returns to light the sky
yet,
no ray of light
we wallow in continual dark
how long will the alley
remain dark -
till everything turn black?
