Dreams or Nightmares

A glimpse of hope or death, they say it's fate
I close my eyes anall i see is darkness; i'm late
I'm stand in between. Life and death; a thin line.

I have a desire lurking.
I seek to be at the spotlight.
I have a fantasy.
To be loved and desired truly.
I see the stars, constellation; it's the galaxy.

I see their smiles and soft nods of approval.
The glitter of hope on their faces.
Their fingers shoved together to form and applause.
I take a bow. I achieved my dream.

I found a lover. I found true love.
One that seeks of me every moment.
He adores my smiles and brushes my hair with his fingers.
I watch him sing melodiously.
What else could matter?

I'm awake at 6.
They lied too.
I achieved nothing.
Dreams they say only happens when our eyes are closed.
At six the clock strikes.
Awake to another endless day.

The glitter of hope is gone.

Which circle do i belong?
What becomes of my desire and reality?
I thought i was brave and could embrace my fear.
No! I was wrong. I told a lie.

Which is more terrifying?

Dreams or Nightmares ?

With this poem, you have to open the floor with liberty to choose. There are theoretical angles earned by the Speaker’s moments of practicality in life, and now the speaker’s lessons are on the laps of the audience. Both are fine poles of heaven and hell, to me; and they both have their haven within us fighting for the throne to our hearts and looking for the radius in each of our circles till we manifest their brims and over flow to other essences.
