Cara: I'm thinking of asking him out for coffee. Amara: Why are you the one asking him out for coffee? Cara: Who would you prefer asks him out? Amara: I mean, he's the man. The Railway Museum of Kenya!
You would wonder what's so interesting in a railway museum, right? Not in this particular one. The Railway Museum of Kenya is located at the heart of Nairobi, the central business district. In there you will learn the evolution of rail transport through innovation and technology. There's enough space outside to just sit and admire trains that go way back to the 18th century. The place is serene, it's beautiful, and it's rich with history and knowledge.#Kenya #Nairobi #history
This seat is in the National Museum of Kenya.
When I first saw the seat, first thing that came to mind is game of thrones. There's no history note attached to this seat, but my guess is it represents the weapons used by the local communities to fight the colonialists. The most famous local group that led the fight against colonialism in Kenya was known as MauMau.
